Index Overview
The Northern Trust Investment Grade US Corporate Bond Index is designed to measure the performance of a diversified universe of investment grade, US dollar denominated, corporate bonds issued in the United States. The index is comprised of eligible securities with $250mm or more in outstanding principal, and a maturity range of one to ten years at each reconstitution.

Capitalization-Weighted
Index Methodology
The construction of each index begins with a securities screen to determine eligibility for inclusion in the index. Once all eligible securities have been identified, a market value weighting scheme is applied to derive each index constituents’ weight.
